FAQ

Straight answers. If yours is not here, ask at hello@rakefall.com.

What is high-frequency gaming?

Real-time video games where money is the live scoreline. In a Rakefall match every confirmed hit transfers value between players the moment the server confirms it, at 60 ticks per second, and the final result settles on-chain. Not slots, not a sportsbook: the outcome comes from aim, movement, and timing.

Is Rakefall gambling?

Rakefall games are skill-based competition: no wheel, no dealer, no house randomness deciding winners. How regulators classify money play in that format differs by jurisdiction, so real-money play launches only region by region as licensing or legal clearance lands. Where that has not happened, everyone plays free. Details on the regions page.

Can I play for real money today?

No. Real-money play is not offered anywhere yet. The beta is free play with credits that carry no cash value. Real money arrives with licensing, region by region, behind age verification, KYC, and enforced responsible-gaming controls.

What do beta credits cost, and what are they worth?

Nothing, and nothing. Credits are free promotional play units: they cannot be bought, cashed out, transferred, or exchanged, and balances may be reset during development.

How do I start playing?

Open app.rakefall.com in a browser, pick a callsign, and queue for Quickdraw. No download, no signup form, no payment.

Do I need a crypto wallet?

No. The beta plays fully without one. Connecting a self-custodied wallet is optional; if you do, we only ever see your public address, and we never ask for private keys or a seed phrase.

What is $RAKE?

The platform token on Robinhood Chain, fixed supply 1,000,000,000. The platform's entire revenue is a flat 0.50% commission on in-match transfers, and all of it market-buys $RAKE: 50% burned, 30% back to players, 20% to treasury. Full mechanism on the token page.

Can I buy or trade $RAKE now?

Not from us, and we do not sell it anywhere on this site or in the app. Liquidity and trading open with licensing, together with real-money play. Anyone offering to sell you $RAKE today is not us; verify the contract address on the token page before touching anything.

How does Rakefall make money?

One flat 0.50% commission per in-match transfer, collected in USDG. No house edge on outcomes, no spread. The commission is also what powers the $RAKE buyback loop, so the business model is published on the token page in full.

How do I know matches are fair?

One server-side simulation owns the truth, inputs are validated rather than trusted, every cent lives in a double-entry ledger that must balance on every tick, and settled results write public receipts to Robinhood Chain. The whole argument, including where audits stand, is on the fair-play page.

Where is Rakefall available?

Free play is open where lawful. Real money is not live anywhere yet and will launch region by region; the live list stays current on the regions page.

When do Liquidation and Margin Call launch?

When they are ready; we do not announce dates. Both are in development and will land in the free beta first. Concepts are up at Liquidation and Margin Call.

Is Rakefall affiliated with Robinhood?

No. "Robinhood Chain" states where Rakefall contracts are deployed. Rakefall is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood.
